Creator Garden Building Set

This is for serious hobby people… skill level 18 and up. Got it for my daughter in laws birthday and she loved it ! Simply beautiful, and the detail is amazing ! I will be buying her more pieces for special occasions !

I have put together more Lego sets than I can remember and comparatively, even if not as good, the tiles' quality on this set are excellent! This set was not the easiest to assemble, I had to slightly change the building steps a couple of times, for example, it is much better to add the plants on the outer beds after you are done with everything else, because they get in the way, especially when setting the clear pieces for the windows. I had to be creative and add a couple of pieces from old Lego sets to attach the light strips better, but all this was part of the fun and problem solving that makes it really interesting. Don't get me wrong, the set is complete with all the pieces it needs to create the Botanical Garden exactly as described! The lights work perfectly, and the building looks great! It is sturdy and the tiles/pieces came complete (with a few extra ones). The tiles attach really well to each other. I will definitely be buying more sets from this brand!!

Fantastic set. Was built in 3 sittings. Absolutely gorgeous, especially when lit up.

The pillars/arches between the windows were the most difficult portion to install as they need some support underneath to hold in place as you place the plates above them. The problem is, to do so you need to stick your fingers underneath, but the tree branches and some other build sections are in the way. There's no easy way to access the inner first level parts once the windows so take care.

On that note, if minifigs are going to be integrated into your build, placetrhem as you go, especially the middle rooms. Access is limited once the windows are on.

I adore this build and I think it's definitely one of my favorites next to my flowers. It came with all the pieces and a clear instruction manual so even if it was a pretty complex build I didn't have to take anything apart to fix it. One massive problem I encountered was getting the glass walls into place. I also had to take apart the whole thing as it was crazy hard for no reason. Another issue is with the tree in the middle during said process of putting the windows in. kept breaking. Why am I still giving it 5 stars? it's still a fun build and beautiful, it took 3 day in total for me to complete and now its on display in my little bookshelf. It's honestly great.

If you make a mistake, it's because you weren't paying attention and you can always retrace your steps. The bonus feature of light strips add a great deal to the beauty and usefulness of the kit because it now doubles as a beautiful night light. You have to add your own AAA batteries. It is a fine activity for hobbyists and gardeners who don't want to get their hands dirty.
